CAMDEN GREEN LOOP WORKSHOP

THE WORKSHOP

We are recruiting a diverse group of 10 Camden locals to help design the values and ambitions of the Camden Green Loop’s arts & culture approach.

The Camden Green Loop aims to explore and improve how our neighbourhoods are connected through parks and green spaces, celebrate all the wonderful destinations around us and identify projects for uplifting our local area. Now that we have established the project’s remit and ambitions, we are developing an approach to arts & culture which ensures the projects and events we commission are aligned with the vision of people who use, work and live in our neighbourhoods.

Your role will be to represent and champion the interests of Camden residents. You will engage in dialogue with members of the business community, arts & culture experts and other local stakeholders to devise the project’s approach to creating a thriving and exciting culture scene.

KEY ATTRIBUTES

You do not need qualifications to be part of this project, but will need to:

→     Be a resident of Camden Town, Kings Cross, or Euston, who is passionate about their local community

→     Aged 16+

→     Be available for one session in January - please specify in your app on which of the following days you could attend a 10.30am-1.30pm workshop: January 10th, 13th, 18th and 19th.

→     Represent your local community and be willing to share personal experiences and insight into what it’s like living in the area

→     Be willing to participate in group discussions with fellow participants, which will be led by Camden Town Unlimited

→     Think imaginatively about your local public spaces, particularly how accessible and connected they are and how we can improve them

→     Actively engage in branding activities led by Camden Town Unlimited, including storytelling, exploring local heritage, and creating visual mood boards
