CAMDEN GREEN LOOP NEIGHBOURHOOD DESIGNERS

REQUIRED: Camden Green Loop Mappers
April 26th, 11am-1pm

We are recruiting 10 locals to attend a workshop with Footways, the people building a network of quiet and enjoyable walking routes across London.

The Camden Green Loop is getting its own printed Footways map which will be available at our local cultural destinations and venues, ensuring that our visitors make more sustainable travel choices that allow them to explore the nooks and crannies of our fabulous neighbourhoods.

This is a joint effort, and your local experience living, working and enjoying our neighbourhoods is essential.

Join the workshop and help us to build a map that celebrates the most fascinating green spaces, community groups, businesses and destinations as curated by you.

PAYMENT: You will be reimbursed £11.95 per hour and gain valuable experience in the design process, and you will be mentioned in the final report as a key contributor to the neighbourhood brand.

KEY ATTRIBUTES

You do not need qualifications to be part of this project, but will need to:

→     Be a resident or employee in Camden Town, Kings Cross, or Euston, who is passionate about their local community

→     Aged 16+

→     Be available for the workshop 11am-1pm, April 26th in Camden Town

→     Represent your local community and be willing to share personal experiences and insight into what it’s like living in the area

→     Be willing to participate in group discussions with fellow participants, which will be led by Camden Town Unlimited and Footways

Type of Contract: Fixed-term part-time position
Reimbursement: Appointed Neighbourhood Designers will be reimbursed at £11.95 per hour in reflection of the hours they have contributed to be able to participate in the programme and this will be in lieu of any reasonable expenses incurred
Commitment: To attend one 2-hour workshop on April 26th with potential follow up via email or call.
Location: Workshop sessions will take place at Camden Collective, 5-7 Buck Street, NW1 8NJ
