Camden Town Unlimited Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy of our supporters, members and visitors to our websites. This policy is concerned with how we collect information, what we do with it and what controls you have.

Who are we

In this policy references to Camden Town Unlimited, CTU or to ‘we’ or ‘us’ are to Camden Town Center Limited, trading as Camden Town Unlimited which is a registered company based at Collective Auction Rooms, 5-7 Buck Street, London, England, England, NW1 8NJ. Company No. 5453570.

Camden Town Unlimited is a business improvement district (BID) covering Camden Town. BIDs operate under the Business Improvement Districts (England) Regulations 2004, are elected every 5 years by their membership, funded via a business rates levy of the eligible businesses (.gov page here) and directed by a board drawn from member businesses.

The personal data we collect and why we need it

We collect personal data over three broad categories:

1.       CTU newsletter sign ups - Submitted by the individual

2.       Data collected by the CTU website – Collected automatically

3.       BID membership data – Collected from Camden Council and by the BID team

The BID membership data is collected and processed on a legal obligation basis, as CTU has an obligation to engage with its membership and ensure the BID levy is spent on their priorities. The remaining data is processed on a legitimate interest’s basis and used to fulfil CTU’s purpose.
