Through our membership of Cross River Partnership, we were awarded a portion of the Mayor’s Air Quality Fund.
We have chosen to allocate this money to improving one of Camden Town’s greatest assets – Regents Canal.
Unfortunately, people who visit, live and work in London are exposed to high levels of pollution, and this inspired our objective to highlight alternative low-exposure routes.
Once underway, we hope to work with landscape architects, behavioural change consultants and local volunteer groups to brighten up the tow paths, increase biodiversity make our stretch of Regents Canal an enjoyable and safe place to walk or relax. The project is currently in its initial stages, but we will keep you updated with all developments.
