Camden Inspire & Collective Launch

11th January 2018

On December 6th, we celebrated the businesses of Camden and Euston Town of all sizes. We were launching our brand new coworking space, Camden Collective, which offers support, free or subsidised space and an invaluable network of like-minded people to startups. We were also celebrating the established independents that offer Camden Town something special. Putting it to the public vote, we were looking for the standouts that make our area shine. Well over two thousand of you said:

Best music venue: Green Note DSC_0262-2

Best eating & drinking experience: Apulia Cafe

Vibrant retail: Bio Organic

Best market trader: Clime-it Brothers

We were also joined by Marine Tanguy of MTArt, and Alison Heath, one of the artists she represents. Alison displayed some of her beautiful, atmospheric pieces which explore our relationship with the City, and breaks down the usual constraints to create a world of imagination and freedom.

… And B-Better, an amazing group connecting with people of all ages through dance. They kept us spellbound with their animated choreography.

Obviously food and drinks were right at the top of the agenda. Massive thanks to the wonderful beings at Camden Town Brewery – who not only supplied the beers but came to dish them out for the evening, too!

And the Mac Fac, Guinea Fowlers and Ana’s Croquetta’s who served their delicious plates up to hungry queues. Amazing work from all of those guys (and not in the easiest of conditions – big up The Mac Fac who prepared their cheesey goodness in one of our offices!)

Finally, thanks to everyone who voted, came to celebrate with us and showed so much love to our local businesses. Meant the world to see you all there. Listen out for the next Inspire awards – December 2018 here we come!
